    It’s what Sanibel Island is best known for – shells! Island Inn’s private beach is popular with shellers because of its great location , breathtaking sunsets and scenery, soft sand, warm clean water and of course its abundance of shells! Come to the “Sanibel Stoop” on Island Inns’ private beach and you won’t be disappointed in what you find. Island Inn also has shell washing stations for your convenience.   • Spacious Lobby

    Sanibel Island recently had its lobby and lounge area completely renovated. Complete with a inviting layout, fireplace, flat screen TV’s and adjacent to Traditions on the Beach it is a popular hangout for many guests.

  • Heated Pool

    Our heated pool is open year around and is a perfect place to relax and catch some rays.

  • Kayaks and Paddleboards

    The Island Inn now has kayaks available to rent, directly on the beach! Paddle along the coast and enjoy the warm water and the beautiful view from the other side of the beach. Visit the front desk for rentals and more information.

    We have two private tennis courts that are surrounded by the beauty of Sanibel Island.
