Like Mollusks? Enjoy photography? Well, your in luck! Sanibel Island’s Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum ^[1] is holding a competition on who can capture the best photograph of a live mollusks ^[2]. Pictures submitted should include mollusks in their different stages of life and living environments. This means feeding, moving, mating and whatever else our little friends do.

The museum will start taking photo submissions 7/25/2011 and the contest will end  11/01/2011.  Winners will be announced during the museum’s anniversary celebrations, November 14 through 18.   The top  photographs will be shown on the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum facebook page, website and lobby.
