Bocca Grande beaches are the perfect place for those who want a more primitive beach going experience. Located on Gasparilla Island north of Sanibel Island Boca Grande consists of 14 Gulf of Mexico beach locations and 11 bay side locations. Not all beach locations have swimming access;however, all offer stunning views.

Parking is primitive some not marked at all. The upside to this is no fees. Some of the access paths are as small as a walking path others are more substantial and offer canoe & kayak launching. If you venture to the south end of the Island you will find more than a dozen walking paths that will lead you from the Gulf Blvd to the beach.
