If your looking for privacy, Bowman’s Beach is the Sanibel Island Beach for you. At Bowman’s Beach you will find large expanses of beach with not a soul in sight. All the space makes for great shelling and long walks. Speaking of walks there is a 1/4 mile walk from the parking lot to the beach. The water at Bowman’s Beach has more of a current through it so it is cool and pristine.
Parking for the beach is located about 1/4 of a mile (about a 10 minute walk) from the beach access. The parking lot is open 7AM to 7PM and costs $2.00 per hour.
