Lighthouse beach attracts visitors from all over the world. The main attraction is the lighthouse, which stands 120 feet above sea level and was competed in 1884. You cannot enter the lighthouse; however, you may roam the grounds and take all the pictures you want. Along with the lighthouse, there are attractions at the beach including shelling, beach walking, fishing and nature trails. A wonderful fishing pier is located here, too. This is one of Sanibel Islands most popular destinations, so expect a crowd.
Parking for the beach is located right at beach access. The parking lot is open 7AM to 7PM and costs $3.00 per hour.
