The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) is the largest private landowner on Sanibel, managing over 2,100 acres on the island and throughout the region. SCCF has over 8 miles of public trails, offers environmentally focused camps and programs, holds volunteer cleanups and restoration events, sells native plants, monitors water quality, sea turtles, shorebirds, and aquatic wildlife, and advocates for sound environmental policy. Be sure to visit the SCCF Native Landscapes & Garden Center and Bailey Homestead Preserve at 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
